Background: An attorney since 1994, Nicole Barnum has practiced primarily in the area of family law for the past decade. Ms. Barnum has extensive experience representing parents in disputed custody/relocation and visitation proceedings, cases of child abuse and neglect (ACS cases), as well as divorce, paternity, child support, and individuals seeking or defending against orders of protection. Additionally, Ms. Barnum represents parents and families, both traditional and LGBTQ, in adoptions and preparing documents including parenting/donor agreements. She also handles family court appeals. Ms Barnum has lectured for various NYC agencies on topics related to her practice areas.
